It’s a Friday night. Charlie, Molly, Bella and I are at home. I was craving cookies so I decided to try making snickerdoodles. I halved the recipe that I found on Savory Sweet Life. It brought Charlie and me back to the Otis Spunkmeyer cookies we had in high school. (We went to different schools, but both schools had a DECA store that sold them!) I must say, it wasn’t quite the same, but it hit me in the right spots! This was the perfect way to wind down after my first week back at work.
P.S. I started writing this a few weeks ago. It has now been month since I started working again! Man, time flies!
P.P.S. I just recently discovered the Savory Sweet Life blog. Alice’s recipes have inspired me the past month I have been reading. I’ve made or been inspired by a few of her recipes. Thanks Alice!

Yumm…
I have to say that I love my silpat liner. It is awesome for baking cookies! Can you tell that it has been used quite frequently?
I love silpats
I have 3 right now, but everytime I see it at the store, I get tempted to pick up more… and have you tried the chicken coconut curry soup on sweet and savory life? super easy and delicious!
